Grateful Roots Gardens

The newest addition to our farm store is the apothecary. At any given time, we have about 60-80 herbs on rotation. We grow a lot of it on the farm, but we also source ethically and responsibly grown herbs from around the world. Whether you’re looking for bitters, anxiolytics, nervines, nutritives, antihistamines, or just about anything, we probably have you covered!

How it works

• If you’re in the store and know what you want already, let us know and we will weigh it out for you. Please note that certain herbs cannot be sold unless you are 21 (we do not carry tobacco).
• If you want a basic recommendation (i.e. “what’s a good sleepy time tea?”), ask us! If we’re in the store at the time we can speak in person. You’re welcome to call or email your questions.
• If you want a more in-depth recommendation, please book an appointment with Brittany. Appointments are 30 minutes, where more details about your personal constitution and and goals will be discussed. The long intake form will need to be filled out before arrival (otherwise you will spend the entire time filling out the form). Please see steps below. Consults are donation based.

*Not all of our products are intended for internal use, if you buy herbs for topical use we will make sure you are aware of that upon purchase

*We highly discourage the use of conventionally sprayed and GMO plants, all of our products are non-GMO and/or organic. We cannot legally use the word “organic” because we are not “certified” by the USDA. However, if we grew it, it exceeds the requirements demanded by the USDA to be considered organic
